The Baker

For 10 years, the bakery was my home. First in a small shop where I learned the craft by hand, with the best sourdough around. Then in larger operations. Every morning at 4 AM, turning simple ingredients into something delicious. I loved making people happy.

A journey from flour to code

The Turning Point

Over time I developed a flour allergy. It kept getting worse, until one day I couldn't breathe anymore. I kept going because I loved the job. But eventually I had to let go.

Disability insurance enabled me to start a second apprenticeship and Schindler Elevators gave me the chance. Over four years I learned everything from the ground up as a fullstack developer: Golang, C#, Angular, ASP.NET Core, Unity, Docker and more. Thanks to strong performance, I was accepted into the internal talent program. I built a fallback website for elevator emergency communication, developed a VR application for showcasing lift models, an AR app for work instructions, and a check-in app for school visit days. Later, I even got to work in R&D on the top-secret Schindler X8. As a kid I always said: baker or programmer. Now I'm both.

At Work

Brabender Solutions

Since September 2025 I've been at Brabender Solutions. Together with the CEO, I'm overhauling the internal systems. I'm rebuilding the complete product management, CRM and ERP from scratch. From employee management to resource planning, all in one system. My toolkit: React, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, Docker and Nginx Proxy Manager. For development I rely heavily on AI: Claude Code as a development partner, MCP servers for connecting external tools and data sources, custom skills for recurring workflows and AI agents that handle tasks autonomously.

Since September 2025 I've been at Brabender Solutions. Together with the CEO, I'm rebuilding the complete product management, CRM and ERP from scratch. Built with React and ASP.NET Core, powered by AI with Claude Code, MCP servers and custom skills.

Tuning Schweiz

Tuning Schweiz started in 2016 from a simple idea: anyone looking for a tuning event in Switzerland had to dig through countless Facebook groups, websites and forums. There was no central place. It all began with organizing my own event. That's when I realized: the scene is huge, but completely scattered. So Tuning Schweiz became the platform that brings all events, news and the community together in one place. Today over 9,000 members. And in 2026, the next step followed: with the SimRacing team Alpineers, it goes from the street to the virtual track.

Life Beyond Code

When I'm not coding, I make electronic music as Sonex or DJ in VRChat. And our two Pomskies Ari and Luci make sure I get enough fresh air. I'd dreamed of getting into photography for well over ten years — recently my wife surprised me with a Nikon D5100, and I finally started shooting. Here are a few of my first photos.

I still make cookies, they just have a different meaning now.
